
Social Involvement
EcoDriven in co-operation with AEL and other role players are currently involved in various community projects that relate to food, water, social security upliftment and social economic progress. Examples are the growing of vegetables at schools and the others relate to addressing poor water quality issues around the Orange River region.
Hydroponic Vegetable Garden at Grootdrink Intermediate School (Schools Nutrition Program – Vegetable Gardens at Schools in the Northern Cape for Food Security)
The aim of the AEL initiative is to assist with addressing food security and educational skills at schools in the Northern Cape. Our involvement relates to specialist input on environmental best practices and how to produce the vegetables in an environmentally friendly manner.
Gariep Watch – The Gariep Watch movement was established by a group of concerned members across various industries in the Northern Cape. Our involvement relates to specialist input on environmentally related matters.
